You can also add sites to your exception list to allow them to display in your browser. This is an excellent way to block the annoying pop-ups on a particular website. In this way, you can keep your favorite websites safe while avoiding unwanted ads. This is one of the most effective ways to prevent unwanted pop ups from interfering with your workflow.

Enable custom behaviors

To enable custom behaviors when using pop up blocker on Google Chrome, you should open the browser’s settings and navigate to the Site settings tab. Here, you can specify which sites you want to block and which you want to allow. These settings will override your default settings. For instance, adding a website to the “Not allowed” list will prevent you from seeing ads for that site.

Click the ellipsis icon (…) located in the upper-right corner of the web browser. From there, click Advanced settings. Under “Block pop-ups,” click the toggle switch to enable or disable this behavior. If you’re still concerned about pop-ups, it may be best to switch to another web browser.

Alternatively, you can choose to enable pop-ups from specific websites. To do this, follow steps 1-4 above. Then, go to Chrome’s Settings menu (the three dots located at the top-right corner of the window). Click the Security and privacy option on the left-hand side.

Once you’ve enabled the Customized Behaviors section, you can choose which sites should be allowed to display pop-ups. You can also choose to disable notifications altogether. This option is especially useful if you’re using a pop-up blocker on your computer.
