If you want to block pop-up windows from displaying on your computer screen, you may want to block them on Chrome. There are a few different ways to accomplish this, including unchecking the box that says Block pop-up windows and disabling custom behaviors. Once you have disabled pop-ups, you can enable the custom behaviors that you want to see.
Uncheck the Block pop-up windows box
The pop-up windows may be not real pop-ups. They could be a sign of malware. If that is the case, you must troubleshoot the problem. Refer to Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.
The pop-up blocker in Google Chrome is enabled by default. To disable it, go to Internet Options > Pop-up Blocker. Click the settings button and select Allow for specific websites. Then, navigate to the web page you wish to visit and click the Allow button next to the site’s name.
The pop-up blocker in Firefox can be disabled and blocked on specific websites. Select Preferences in the top-right corner of the browser window. Click the gear icon. Uncheck the box next to Block pop-up windows. The blocker will now be disabled.
Remove items from exception list
When using pop up blocker on Google Chrome, you can prevent the pop ups from showing in your browser. There are several ways to do this. The first option is to go to the settings menu and click on the gear icon. Next, choose Content Settings. Under the tab “Pop ups” you can turn off pop ups or enable them.
You can also remove specific websites from the exception list. For instance, you can remove a specific website by clicking the Remove Website button. Or you can also remove all websites from the exception list by clicking on the Remove All Websites button. After making these changes, click on the Save Changes button.
In Google Chrome, you can choose whether to allow pop ups from specific websites or block them on all sites. You can choose to allow or disallow specific pop ups based on their domain and content. You can change the settings in the pop-up menu that appears when you open your browser.
You can also add sites to your exception list to allow them to display in your browser. This is an excellent way to block the annoying pop-ups on a particular website. In this way, you can keep your favorite websites safe while avoiding unwanted ads. This is one of the most effective ways to prevent unwanted pop ups from interfering with your workflow.
Enable custom behaviors
To enable custom behaviors when using pop up blocker on Google Chrome, you should open the browser’s settings and navigate to the Site settings tab. Here, you can specify which sites you want to block and which you want to allow. These settings will override your default settings. For instance, adding a website to the “Not allowed” list will prevent you from seeing ads for that site.
Click the ellipsis icon (…) located in the upper-right corner of the web browser. From there, click Advanced settings. Under “Block pop-ups,” click the toggle switch to enable or disable this behavior. If you’re still concerned about pop-ups, it may be best to switch to another web browser.
Alternatively, you can choose to enable pop-ups from specific websites. To do this, follow steps 1-4 above. Then, go to Chrome’s Settings menu (the three dots located at the top-right corner of the window). Click the Security and privacy option on the left-hand side.
Once you’ve enabled the Customized Behaviors section, you can choose which sites should be allowed to display pop-ups. You can also choose to disable notifications altogether. This option is especially useful if you’re using a pop-up blocker on your computer.
If you’re using a pop-up blocker on Google Chrome, you can turn it on by clicking the toggle next to it. In addition, you can also enable or disable it in the Settings menu by going to your home screen and clicking the “Settings” option. Here, you’ll find a setting labeled “POP-UP and Redirects.”
